Provenance

We believe in being open and honest when it comes to our ingredients, where they are sourced from and where our gin is made.

We use a total of nine botanicals in our gin, sourced from all over the world these are carefully selected for the balance and taste we have achieved.

Our Juniper and citrus fruits are from Mediterranean countries such as Italy and Spain, our Angelica and Coriander from Eastern Europe and our Elderflower is from Angus, a couple of minutes walk from our front door!

Our (not so) secret ingredient is fresh grapefruit, which we purchase locally on the morning of each distillation!

Our gin, a London Dry gin is made and bottled in Arbroath, Angus in a 200 litre modular still. We use a Neutral Grain Spirit at 96%ABV as our base which we source from a distillery in the West Midlands and then ship to Arbroath where distillation takes place.

 

With our Neutral Grain Spirit and botanicals we distill with pure Angus water to achieve a smooth gin at 42%ABV. The water used in our gin is supplied from Scottish Water and is collected from Backwater Reservoir, which is located in North West Angus in Glen Isla.
